WebI ACTY'S ORARIO 15.0 Release Notes

On January 30, 2024, WebI ACTY'S ORARIO 15.0 (hereafter referred to as “ACTY'S 15.0”) was released.
This page introduces the new functions and improvements that will be added in the upgrade.

* From this version, the product name has been changed from “Kouteizu” to “WebI ACTY'S ORARIO”.

Major New Functions and Improvements

Added character size setting function

Added character size setting function

Added character size (magnification) settings for Group Name and Histogram title

It became possible to enlarge or reduce the characters of Group Names and Resource Names in Histogram Area relative to the Base Font Size.
Without changing the overall character size, only the character size of Group Name and Resource Name can be adjusted, making it possible to create a BarChart that is easier to view.

You can set the magnification freely in the range of 75% to 200%.

* Since this item is set for the entire BarChart, it will not be reflected in the exclusive editing of Planow Orario and Plan Cockpit. You can change it in “All (kzd)” of Project basic information from Planow Orario.

Added character size (magnification) settings for printing

You can now enlarge and reduce the character size at the time of printing while maintaining the character size on the screen.
You can adjust the character size at the time of printing without changing the layout of the BarChart when printing, and solve problems such as the character becoming too small when printing on a large size paper.

You can set the magnification of overall text freely in the range of 75% to 400%.
In addition, you can set the maximum magnification for the character size of Calendar individually. (Setting value range: 75% to the numerical value set in [Resizing texts] (%))
You can set an easy-to-read character size according to the size of the BarChart.

By switching the function check ON/OFF, you can also print with the same specifications as before.

By using the character size (magnification) setting function at the time of printing, you can save the trouble of changing the Base Font Size to enlarge the characters in the printed result, such as when you want to print on a large piece of paper.

Improved symbol and formatting functions

Added “Change Symbol” button to Toolbar

“Change Symbol” button has been newly added to the Option Toolbar.
By pressing “Change Symbol” button while selecting a Bar, “Change Symbol” screen for that Bar can be displayed.
“Change Symbol” screen can be called up more easily than before, making it possible to work more efficiently.

Added “Character Format” and “Change Symbol” buttons to the Property screen

It became possible to display “Character Format” or “Change Symbol” screen for the Bar or Milestone from the Property screen of the Bar or Milestone.
You can create a Bar, enter property information, and then change character formats and symbols in the same flow, leading to improved work efficiency.

Improved Bar Layout setting function

Added types of delimiters between items

When displaying multiple Bar information in BarChart Area, you can now choose between commas or spaces to separate items.
You can use it when you do not want to display the comma separator.

As an example of use, units can be entered in Notes, and information can be expressed without discomfort by arranging the Quantity and Note (Unit) separated by space in Bar Layout.

Improved operability of the Bar Layout screen

  1. When deleting a set item, subordinate items are no longer deleted.

  2. It is no longer possible to select items that will not be reflected in Bar Layout even if they are set in Items 2 and 3. Specifically, these items are related to date and time.*

  3. Changed so that the Date Format options do not change when switching View tabs.

  4. Changed the notation of “Apply” button and others to be easier to understand.

  5. When applying the settings, the error part is clearly indicated in the red frame, allowing you to see at a glance the part that need to be corrected.

* As an existing specification, items related to date and time are reflected correctly only when set to Item 1.

Improved screen transition after creating Baseline Bars

After setting the Baseline, you can now go directly to Bar Layout screen.
Previously, after setting the Baseline, you had to open the Bar Layout screen by yourself from [View] > [Bar Layout...].
By allowing you to directly transition to Bar Layout screen, you can work more efficiently and will not get lost in the operation.

Other improvements

Improved display position of sequential day

Changed the display position of sequential days in Calendar Area to below the day of the week.
We responded to the request that “the sequential day is adjacent to the date and it is difficult to distinguish them”.

Display improvements to support high-resolution displays

Fixed a problem that some screens could not be displayed normally when using a high resolution display.
It is now possible to use WebI ACTY'S ORARIO normally even on high-resolution displays.
At the same time, the layout of some screens has also been revised.

* Depending on your display environment, some parts may be difficult to see. In that case, you may need to adjust the display settings of your OS.

Change wording in the application

(1) Changed the English name of the product.

The name has been changed so that the image of the product can be easily conveyed to people in English-speaking countries.

  • “Kouteizu”  →  “WebI ACTY’S ORARIO”

(2) Changed the names of some tools.

“Orario”, the master brand of Web I products, has been added to the product name.

  • “BarChart Factory”  →  “BarChart Factory Orario”

(3) File name notation in BarChart Factory Orario has been unified.

The term “Form” will henceforth be discontinued and unified with the term “Pattern”.

  • BarChart Factory Orario 5.0 Print Pattern File (.bcfx)

  • BarChart Factory Orario 5.0 Print Pattern Template (.bctx)

(4) Changed the notation regarding PREGARE.

The following changes have been made to match the notation on PREGARE Orario (hereafter referred to as “PREGARE”).

  • Upload to PREGARE screen   “User Name”  →  “LoginName”

  • Preference > PREGARE   “User name”  →  “Login name”

Improvements to ACTY'S template and BarChart Factory Orario template

We have reviewed the existing templates available from “New” menu, and changed the contents, names, and folder hierarchy.
Please utilize the template that best fits your industry to create a BarChart efficiently.

Bugs fixed in this release

  • Fixed a bug that if you select multiple Task Bars with different Calendars and display the pull-down of the Calendar on the Bar Property screen, then press [OK] without making any changes, the default Calendar would be set.

  • Fixed a bug that margins of a few pixels were added to the right and bottom edges of emf files generated at the time of printing.

  • Fixed a bug that the PREGARE upload function displayed a timeout error on ACTY'S side even though the schedule was successfully uploaded to PREGARE.

  • Fixed a bug that the Group of the paste destination was inconsistent when pasting only Rows and Bars in Paste to Group.

  • Fixed a bug that “Undo” was disabled if you change the font size from other than Option screen.

  • Fixed a bug that if the same Resource is registered in the same Bar, the Lag period is not reflected when the Histogram in Resource View is set to Filter by Group / Group Stack.

  • Fixed a bug that selecting a Bar from the Group context menu did not open the Property screen with Enter.

  • Fixed a bug in ACTY'S 14.0 that caused a slowdown in creating Bars and opening properties compared to previous versions.

  • Fixed a bug in ACTY'S 14.0 when copying and pasting a Group that contains Bars with holidays in between, the arrangement would be different from some previous versions.

  • Fixed a bug that the icon on the date selection screen in calendar format was not displayed on Windows 11.

  • In addition, new functions and functional improvements in ACTY'S 15.0 have eliminated minor related bugs.

Points to consider regarding the use of WebI ACTY'S ORARIO

  • If you want to collaborate on BarChart (kzd file) editing, please use our server products (Planow Orario, PREGARE Orario, Kouteizu Cloud).

  • If you edit kzd files on shared folders or cloud storage, unexpected problems may occur. The warranty does not cover these problems.

  • One legitimate license is required per device to be used.

  • Please note that if one license is used on multiple devices through remote desktop connection, etc., it will not be covered by the warranty.

  • After understanding the above, if you wish to use one license on multiple devices, such as for remote desktop connection at your discretion, you are required to purchase legitimate licenses for the number of people who will actually use the license. Please inform us of the number of intended users and introduce licenses for that number of people.

  • Please use this product in a supported operating environment. Operation in other environments (virtual environment, etc.) is not covered by the warranty.

  • Unexpected problems may occur due to the influence of your printer, monitor, operating system (OS), and other software. These problems may not be covered by our warranty. If the problem you encounter is not improved by changing the settings, etc., please contact the manufacturer of each device / software directly.
